TRANSPORTATION:
Fly American Airlines or Air Jamaica to Kingston. for best fares, book well in advance. Plan to arrive by 3PM as the drive to LONG BAY (about 2.5 hours) is much easier and more interesting in daylight. You can rent a car or arrange a taxi to meet you. We recommend Mr. Washington Edward's taxi, a comfortable van, to all our firends. He is certified by the Jamaican United Tourist Association. Contact him directly at (876) 993-2593 evenings. Tell him when and where to meet you. If he cannot make it, he'll send a reliagle replacement. David Escoe our manager will Pick you up at the airport for a fee. Please call Him at 876-890-7661 for time and place and fare. Washington charges approximately $100.00 US for four people, $20.00 US per person over four, to pick you up at Kinston Norman Manley International Airport and drive you to LONG BAY.

The local bus service is frequent and cheap, but crowded and stuffy. Motorcycles, scooters and bicycles can be rented in Port Antonio.
Car rental: Offices at the airports and Port Antonio. Reserve your car in advance. Rentals are very expensive compared to US rates.
To enter Jamaica you need a valid Passport or Birth Certificate with raised seal and Photo ID (Driver's License Preferred).
To leave Jamaica you will need to save appx. $20 US or equivalent in Jamaican Dollars for Airport Tax.
